Just Say No To Timeshare and Have a Lifetime Relief

Say No to Timeshare and Get a Lifetime Relief

Just Say "No"

Many have asked how to get relief from timeshare presentation when going on a vacation to a timeshare resort. Vacation is supposed to be a time to relax and bond with your loved ones not to sit on a high pressure sales presentation. But since, there was a prior agreement that you have signed yourself into, you cannot just simply ignore it.

Realize that there are many tactics in the industry to get you to spend money, this is what timeshare presentation is for. So, before you even step unto the sales department, condition yourself to saying “no” to their persistence of making you purchase another timeshare.

Always remember though that as you agreed to attend timeshare presentations, you also agreed to stay for a certain period of time. The average sales presentation should only last for 90 minutes, when your time is over, you may opt to leave. If sales representatives, ceased you to leave, let them know up front that you know how long you are required to be there. It is illegal for a timeshare company to keep you longer than the advertised time period unless it is your sole discretion to do so and they must give you your gifts before you leave. The real estate commission has corresponding sanctions for this matter.

There are many owners who say that they were not coming down but they were still convinced to come to sign up for another purchase. Timeshare salespeople are so compelling that they will get you emotionally twisted by their persistence and their pitches that you will be saving money in the long run if you accept their offers. Don't be fooled! You'll get a lifetime relief from timeshare problems if you say “NO”.

Because some owners are unable to pay their maintenance fees, timeshare resorts must raise fees for all owners to cover the difference. A convincing situation to get rid of timeshare.

Just make that it's your decision when you purchase a timeshare unit. Not because you are carried by the high pressure sales presentation. Disadvantages may come afterward.

Usually, when you have jumped on the idea of the purchase without thorough knowledge of what you are going into, you'll end up trying to get rid of it.

Timeshare sales presentations are so enticing and high-pressure. The next thing you remember is you singing the contract. If you have hesitations to buy one, always say NO.

andreasgilad 2 years ago

Instead of attending a timeshare sales presentation, why don't you go to a timeshare owner and ask some questions that might be helpful for you if you are planning to own one. Questions like what are the advantages and disadvantages of timeshare ownership.

Always ready to answer "no." Especially, if you are even planning to buy a timeshare.

Timeshare salesmen are like con artist in some ways. They will tell you great things that in the end you will realize it's all a lie.

I suggest you put your on a d-not-call list. Some states have a legal stand on these already. If any timeshare salesman will repeatedly call you, you have a legal argument to show him.

Be informed that you have the right to turn down these timeshare sales pitches. Most timeshare companies force their customers who just inquired from them to attend a sales presentation that usually lasts for 2 hours.

I agree! Before you step up into a timeshare presentation or timeshare company, condition yourself to say NO. There are many convincing salesmen out there that will make you sign the contract even if it's out of your plan.

Before you step up into a timeshare sales presentation, just makes sure that you are planning to own one. If otherwise, there is no reason to even show up for a timeshare sales presentation.

Regardless of what people think of sales in general, there are honest ones out there. These folks are just trying to make a living just like everyone else. Taking the rree gifts with never any intent of paying attention or knowing your not going to buy is mooching. I'm an owner and I love my sales rep. we have used it for 3 years now with no problems. We were NOT lied to. Its like anything else, you have to know how it works.

Going for just the free gift is wrong!!!

    Get Rid of Timeshare Presentation

    Beware of Deceiving Timeshare Presentation

    The Deceiving Timeshare Sales Presentation

Nowadays, marketing timeshare is often associated with high-pressure selling that oftentimes drag down its reputation as nothing but an industry dedicated to developers reaping profits. Added to this are complaints regarding defrauders and scammers that usually victimize owners who want to get rid of their timeshares. But back in the early days of timeshare, particularly in Florida, parts of Pennsylvania, California, and Nevada, this industry used, as it primary selling tool, the practice of luring potential buyers with vacation offers, wining and dining, and the opportunity to buy shares in lovely resorts “soon to be built.”

Usually, the timeshare companies invite potential buyers to attend a 90-minute sales presentation that often turned into daylong marathons of hard selling. As soon as the contract is signed, the salesperson and the “developer” absconded with the money. For most of complains, the buyer have a shoddy or third-rate property that had little in common with the land touted at the sales presentation. Even worse, it is a deed to nothing. During sales presentation, the timeshare marketers usually mention the words “free vacation” and “no obligation” to draw people to purchase a timeshare property.

On the other hand, some people were satisfied with their purchases. But too many others got burned. The perception, whether fair or not, is that the sales force is heartless in selling mediocre products to innocent consumers. This began to sully the entire industry. Most timeshare owners realized that what they have is nothing but a third-rate timeshare property much less of what they had expected during sales presentation. As a result, they want to find relief from their timeshares as soon as possible.

Timeshare sales are designed to get you sign the contract. There is no such thing as free lunch as they say. So, don't be lured by those great gifts and freebies during sales presentations.
